I always think his characters are just so mysterious- slightly shady even!

Rains was so talented and able to take on any role with gusto. His performance in Notorious is subtle and nuanced. It's never over the top, but it builds over time to its fatal conclusion. The fact that he never won an Academy Award is somewhat unbelievable to me. Good job!
