My list is rather all over the place, but let's share. Angel and the Badman - raw and sentimental Born to Kill - noir to the bone Dick Tracy Meets Gruesome - I don't know. It just speaks to me. Ha! Hue and Cry - nothing else like it. Life with Father - never gets old Lured - It's like a bunch of my friends got together and made a movie just for me and a rainy day. Nicholas Nickleby - wonderful adaptation of a favourite novel Nightmare Alley - Tyrone Power's finest screen performance. Out of the Blue - We don't often get the chance to see Ann Dvorak play comedy, and she's a hoot! Ramrod - Don Defore as a gunslinger will knock your socks off. Ride the Pink Horse - Robert Montgomery shines as director and star. Thomas Gomez's only Oscar nomination. Think of that. So Well Remembered - compelling drama will make its own place in your memory T-Men - one tough docu-noir

I like the Hud camera (63), in the eatery, on the plain and just off the kitchen-range with Pat Neal cookin' meal and still have the hutzpah to fend-off the Hudster (Paul) charging hard.

The year my mom was born has some true classics that rank among my favourites: David Copperfield, Top Hat, Ruggles of Red Gap, The Informer, The 39 Steps. Others I adore from that year might not all rank as classics, but they hold a strong appeal for me: Ah, Wilderness!, The Black Room, The Farmer Takes a Wife, and for those dreary nights, She and Werewolf of London.
