We are back with our weekly what to watch article after a hiatus during Summer Under The Stars 2017. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Just five months until 31 Days of Oscar starts!

Here are Our Thoughts on What To Watch on TCM This Week – September 3 2017 

The online schedule for Summer Under The Stars was so popular that we will now be posting the monthly TCM schedule with our must see picks and in this series we will highlight those must-see picks.

Sunday 3rd

Usually, Sundays are pretty low-key on TCM but today there are some great must-see pictures. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is the first of a Paul Newman double feature. The second movie is The Life and Times of Judge Roy Bean.

Mi Taylor was a young wanderer and opportunist whose father had given him “all the roads in the Kingdom” to travel. One of the roads, and a notation in his father’s journal, leads him to the quiet English country-side home of the Brown family. The youngest daughter, Velvet, has a passion for horses and when she wins the spirited steed Pie in a town lottery, Mi is encouraged to train the horse

In late 1890s Wyoming, Butch Cassidy is the affable, clever and talkative leader of the outlaw Hole in the Wall Gang. His closest companion is the laconic dead-shot ‘Sundance Kid’. As the west rapidly becomes civilized, the law finally catches up to Butch, Sundance and their gang. Chased doggedly by a special posse, the two decide to make their way to South America in hopes of evading their pursuers once and for all.

Monday 4th

The daytime theme is movies directed by George Stevens. Tonight, TCM will pay tribute to Jerry Lewis, who died last week.

Will the excruciating results drive Arthur away?.
